Geraldine Matabang is a licensed architect and environmental planner. She has a Master of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of the Philippines. She is currently the Core Operations Head-Internal of  of TAO-Pilipinas, Inc. Before joining TAO, Geraldine worked for architecture design firms SmithGroup Gexis Manila and Leandro V. Locsin Partners. At TAO, she was the education and training program director for several years where she oversaw capability-building in social housing projects, designed participatory planning modules and facilitated community trainings. She has published monographs about disaster-resilient design and humanitarian shelter assistance.
