Stephanie Sy is the founder and CEO of Thinking Machines, a technology consultancy building AI and data platforms to solve high-impact problems. Since 2015, Stephanie and her team have been building cutting-edge AI and data solutions for leading businesses in Southeast Asia. Thinking Machines has published original research at top scientific conferences such as ICML, NeurIPS, and KDD. They are part of the UNICEF Innovation Fund for their work using artificial intelligence for economic development issues. Stephanie’s work has been recognized by Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 (2018 Enterprise Technology) and Asia 21 Young Leaders (2019). She is on the board of BPI-PhilamLife and is on the AI advisory board of the Philippine Department of Science and Technology. She graduated from Stanford University.
